Delete your account

From the app
The request is made from the app settings, under "Delete my account". A screen sums up what disappears and what remains.
The request is then reviewed, to check that it comes from the account holder. A confirmation code is then sent to the email address attached to the account.
Entering that code, in the same screen of the app, triggers the deletion. Without that confirmation nothing is erased: we cannot give it on your behalf.
By writing to us
If the app is not installed, deletion may be requested at [email protected], either from the email address attached to the account or by stating the username concerned.
The request is reviewed the same way, to check that it comes from the account holder. The confirmation code is then sent to the address attached to the account, and to it alone. It can be sent back to the Discord bot in a private message, or entered in the app.
What is deleted
The account and everything that identifies you are erased: identifier, email address, username, password, and any link with a Discord account.
Signing in becomes impossible, whether from the app or from Discord.
What is kept
Game data is kept in an anonymous form once the account is erased: nothing remains that links it to you as a person. The character stays visible in the leaderboards under an anonymous name.
Free-text entries you made, such as the names given to pets, a guild name and its description, are kept as well. They serve game balancing and the consistency of other players' games.
Timing
Deletion is triggered as soon as the confirmation code is entered. It is immediate and irreversible: progress cannot be restored.
The request is handled within one month, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation.
